This presentation discusses a series of projects, including 1475 Molson Street, Winnipeg [six storey cross laminated timber (CLT) building], 77 Wade Avenue in Toronto (eight storey mass timber and steel high-bred building), and V6 by R Hauz (six storey CLT building), all of which have their challenges and design solutions. Upcoming changes to the National Building Code of Canada, which will allow 12 storey mass timber buildings, will also be discussed.
