OUR IMPACT

Vortex Fire is proud to contribute to the City of Toronto's latest affordable housing initiative, which aims to create 1,000 new modular homes in Toronto. This four-story modular housing building is planned for 150 Dunn Avenue, Toronto. Each of the 51 self-contained studio apartments will feature a twin bed, a private eat-in kitchen, and a bathroom. The building will also include a laundry facility, a communal kitchen and dining room, program spaces, and administrative offices. It is specifically designed to support individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Vortex Fire serves as the Building Code Consultant for this project.
