OUR IMPACT
The Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) at Al Maktoum International Airport is located in Dubai World Central in Jebel Ali, approximately 37 km southwest of Dubai. The existing PTB was designed in 2006 and commenced operations in 2013. Vortex Fire was responsible for updating the fire strategy for the existing areas and developing the fire strategy for the new areas of the PTB expansion. This expansion includes additional departures, concourse, arrivals, baggage handling areas on the ground floor, and new CIP/VIP lounges, offices, and F&B areas on the mezzanine floor.
