Toronto Regional Conservation Authority (TRCA)

The new Toronto Regional Conservation Authority (TRCA) headquarters will be a four-storey mass timber building. The building will be utilized as a learning centre and the design incorporates strategies and technology for renewable energy, innovative wastewater management and integration with the ravine landscape. As the building code consultant for the project, Vortex Fire is providing the following services: OBC code compliance, CSA O86 assessment of structural fire resistance, and atrium smoke modelling.
