The Whitby Operations Centre’s workplace addition is an innovative solution to the municipality’s need for creating more space. The new second floor contains break out areas and collaborative spaces, mixed with traditional offices, all which encourage communication and collaboration across departments. In addition to the fit out, Vortex Fire helped with the review of the renovation and the extension of the vestibule entrance and emergency control room. Vortex Fire Consulting was the building code consultant for the project.
