Australia: Insurance industry ACP residual hazard identification reporting protocol

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) in consultation with Engineers Australia (EA) and Fire Protection Association of Australia (FPAA) have agreed a protocol to provide a consistent methodology, in circumstances where aluminium composite panel (ACP) type or other combustible façade materials are considered to be present. This assessment and reporting of the residual risk would be suitable for both building owners (to make decisions) and underwriters (to set premiums).  For further information, visit the ICA website.

Vortex Fire are able to provide this service as part of our fire audit on existing buildings with ACP cladding.
