Kipling Transit Hub, Toronto

The newly completed Kipling Bus Terminal, opened on January 4, 2021, and it now connects the GO Rail, MiWay, TTC subway and buses, and commuter parking for a more efficient integrated multimodal commute.  The project included the construction of a new inter-regional bus terminal as well as tunnels and overhead pedestrian bridges to connect to the TTC and GO stations.  Vortex Fire served as the Building Code Consultant and reviewed the project design requirements for overall OBC compliance as well as prepared the Fire Safety Plan for the terminal.
